My Favorite Building: It's not really a building now but it used to be part of a building.....The pillars at the National Arboretum that used to be part of the Capitol Building. They stand at the top of a hill with a stream that runs down into a reflecting pool. If you haven't been....go! It's worth the trip. http://www.usna.usda.gov/

My Favorite spot in DC: My own house in NE DC

My story: Originally from Pittsburgh PA, I moved here in 1999. I love DC! I've spent time learning every neighborhood, every museum, every restaurant and everything I can about the city. My background is varied - I've spent years in commercial lending, nonprofits and education. I am active in my children's school and their activities. I'm also an animal lover...I have a 5 year old Golden Retriever. But, my personal passion is real estate. And more specifically, real estate in DC. A favorite day for me is viewing really cool houses and condos I've never seen before. I feel so grateful to live in the nation's capitol. After so many years my family and I still get a thrill when we drive past the monuments lit up at night.
