Richard Urban

Richard Urban, the Urban Team's founder, began his career as an advertising executive at a major New York City agency. In 1987, he relocated to DC and has sold real estate ever since through up and down market cycles. Richard is expert not only in the sale of primary residences but also skilled at finding and evaluating the profitability of properties for investment. He has assisted developers in every project phase, from finding a suitable property for development through design and construction to sale of the finished units.

Ruth Horn

Ruth Horn has an MBA from the University of Chicago in marketing and strategic planning. She has worked as a marketing, public relations and sales consultant to the public and private sectors. D.C. clients included high profile non-profits and PACs as well as a variety of financial services organizations.

In 1991, she began working with Richard Urban at Pardoe Real Estate, D.C.'s premier boutique firm, now DCRE. She has successfully negotiated contracts in sensitive situations and difficult markets for buyers and sellers at all level of experience and price range.
