I am one of the few DC residents that you will meet that actually grew up in the Washington area. I have lived in DC proper, however, for over 20 years and have seen so many positive changes over the years. There's always so much to do and see. There's always a great new restaurant, a new exhibit or festival or show in town and the energy and vibrancy here makes you feel so alive. I love DC and there is no other place else that I'd rather be and I hope that I have the chance to influence you to feel the same way. My favorite building: There are so many beautiful buildings in Washington, it's hard to pick just one. However I have to say that the awe that I felt the first time seeing the Capitol building as a young boy still stands out in my mind. It's so enormous and stately and detailed. The building, the history and what it stands for still humbles me to this day. My background: I have been in customer service and marketing my whole life. Having worked in many different areas of the housing industry, I've developed a deeper understanding and perspective of what it takes to help people buy and sell homes - a quality that sets me apart from most agents. My work experience includes construction, kitchen design and even building material sales. In my real estate career, I've done everything from being a sales manager for new construction condo buildings to listing and selling million dollar single family homes all over the city. Bottom line: Buying or selling a home can be very stressful so I feel it's important to keep a sense of humor and be as light-hearted as you can for balance. Home ownership is very serious business, even more reason why I believe that you should also enjoy it and have some fun while you are at it. If you love what you do you'll never work a day in your life. |
